Within the church building, Orthodox worship takes the form of the Eucharist, or Communion service, on Sundays and other feast days throughout the year and other prayer services—matins, vespers, and other occasions.
If you’ve never attended an Orthodox worship service, you may find useful information at Your First Visit. The important thing to know is that you are welcome to “Come and See” and that many of our parishioners have traveled the journey from other traditions ourselves.
If you’re familiar with Orthodox worship, you may want to know that our practice is more “Slavic” than “Greek” and that our services are mostly in English.
